SeverE Weather Policy

A Severe Weather event is a weather condition that may affect Studio operations in several ways. These events can cause dangerous travelling conditions for families and staff, produce damaging storms that can disrupt lessons, and even create safety concerns inside the building.

Blackout

Make the best choice for your family. 
Loss of power will close the Studio until power is restored.

Thunderstorm/Hail/Wind/Ice/Winter storm

Travel only at your own risk.  Make the best choice for your family. 
Students & Staff may Shelter-In-Place at the Studio. 

Tornado/Earthquake

Travel only at your own risk.  Make the best choice for your family. 
Students & Staff may Shelter-In-Place in the lowest level of the building. 

Fire

Studio will be closed. 
Students & Staff will be evacuated.

Flood

Studio will follow local directives and may close.
Students & Staff will be evacuated.

HazMat

Studio will follow local directives and may close.
Students & Staff may evacuated or Shelter-In-Place.

(Pandemic)

Use your best judgment.
Studio will likely follow directives from authorities.
